Welcome to Hanley Innovations. We are the leader in developing accurate, easy-to-use and accessible 3D Aerodynamics and computational fluid dyanamics (CFD) simulation apps. The software runs directly on an ordinary Windows PC so you currently have all that you need to accurately analyze your designs. Hanley Innovations' products are used by entrepreneurial groups within fortune 500 companies, manufacturers, consulting firms, university research labs or individual consultants. Customers use our aerodynamic and CFD software to design and analyze full airplanes, UAVs, race cars, single & multi-element 3D wings, sailboat hulls, sailboat decks, hydrofoils, keels, rudders, kites, sails, multi-element airfoils, wind turbine airfoils, propeller airfoils, and other aerodynamic products.

Patrick Hanley, Ph.D.

Patrick Hanley, Ph.D. is an aerodynamicist/CFD engineer and the founder of Hanley Innovations. He earned his B.S. degree (summa cum laude) in aerospace engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York and his S.M. and Ph.D. degrees from the department of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also completed a minor in the area of management of innovation and technology at MIT's Sloan School of Management. Hanley Innovations develops state of the art 3D aerodynamics and CFD simulation software that is used for the design and analysis of airplanes, eVTOL, UAVs, ground vehicles, sailboats and hydrofoils.
