AeroTrajectory (tm) can predict the 2-D path or trajectory
of flying objects given launch speed, direction and weight of the projectile.
It can accurately compute range, flight time, drop, midway height and other
facts about the object's trajectory. Computations are performed on
your Windows notebook or desktop PC in a matter of seconds.
Dr. Hanley's AeroTrajectory can be used for:
-
Graphing Trajectories with/without aerodynamics forces.
-
Simulating the path of simple gliders and powered airplanes in various
flight situations.
-
Performing Sports simulations such as baseball, basketball or
golf.
-
Performing Ballistics Simulations
-
Performing Airplane take off and landings.
-
Simulating Rocket Launches.
-
Class room exercises such as projectile motion and other enrichment
experiences.
-
Other simulations such as kites, parachutes, etc
Graphing functions include:
-
Graph of Y vs. X (Range vs. Height)
-
Graph of X vs. Time
-
Graph of Y vs. Time
-
Graph of the Horizontal Speed vs. Time
-
Graph of the Vertical Speed vs. Time
